Battery Temp

When plugged in to the charger and being used my battery regularly goes to temps 110+. I have seen it go as high as 116 according to the app battery monitor.when not plugged in and I am using the phone the temp sits right around 105 to 109. Is it just me or do these temps seem high. Should I talk to VZW about this before the thirty day window is past?

My phone is sitting on my desk at the moment; I'm not using it at all and the temp is at 80.6. It indeed does go up when charging (that's the nature of a chemical battery) but I don't recall what the temp is when doing so and I'll have to check and get back to you.
