Battery life...

Here is a screenshot of my battery life after using navigation, fb updates, constant drop box, texting etc. Is this the norm or should I have more battery life left?

I just got my Maxx last week, so I'm still watching my batter usage closely, and last night when I was about 15 hours into the battery, I was still at 60%. It took me a day and a half to grind it down to where you're at. But, my screen normally accounts for only about 40% of my battery usage, versus nearly 70% for you. Do you have your screen brightness turned way up?

Believe it or not, by lowering your brightness it could save hours on battery life. I have mine @ 20% and could easily go over 24 hrs on one charge. Ive got smart action to basically shut data off @ 11 pm and back on @ 6am. If i ever need it brighter I have the power widget right on my home page..:)

Mine is set to automatic brightness, and I have the 'Display Power Saver' option checked as well (even though I'm not exactly sure what it does to conserve power). Others here keep their displays set to some lower value; say, 25% or so. Your screen is your biggest drain, so keeping the brightness down will go a long way toward extending your battery life.

Update: not bad at all!!

Not too shabby, but something's still eating up your battery. Where's your brightness set? Here's mine:

EDIT: Looks like the volume indicator was blocking part of the image; what you can't see is that my phone had been off the charger for over 16 hours at the time of that screen grab.

Kevin is right something is still running. The dark blue line under the graph had no breaks over the 10 hrs..was you phone playing music for 10 hrs straight? Im not familiar with Lookout but could that be something? How often do you have it scan your phone?

Yup, Kevin and gotnfx are right...your phone is always awake doing something. Still, excellent battery life especially considering something is always running. Could be Wi-Fi always on. Smart actions battery extender might take care of that. It will turn off Wi-Fi, data, background sync when screen is off, no movement and not charging. Then turns it back on again when screen goes on.

Here is my battery life, I think it's pretty darn good.<img src="http://www.droidforums.net/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=55568"/>

It solid. But i wouldn't get too hooked up on the hours active as i would the screen on time. I get between 6-8 hours of screen on time on a single charge. Sometimes more...
