battery life on CM9

I decided to give CM9 another shot on my droid x. So far I kinda like it except for the fact that the battery life kinda sucks. Unplugged it an hour ago and it's down to 87% with only a little Facebook and forum usage. I have touch sounds off, auto brightness set and only two email accounts sync. I've made no calls and sent no texts either. It just drains fast when being used. Any thoughts?

I couldnt actually tell you why the battery life is so terrible, but I think it may have to do with CM7 and CM9 being 2nd-init roms, and therefore are built differently, and not built for battery life but for performance. I could be wrong (which i probably am) but you never know.
And just to let you know i am running CM9 and i have the same issue, along with poor battery life my phone gets REALLY hot REALLY quickly. it might just be my phone because i am overclocked by 150 mhz, which is barely anything but it just gives me the little extra boost my phone needs.
