Battery issues?

The battery in my OG Droid regularly goes from 40% to 20% completely skipping 30% during regular use. It doesn't do this for any other percentage, just 30%. I do have SetCPU with a profile to drop from 900 mhz to 600 mhz at 30%. I was curious if the overclock was causing this issue or if it sounds like I need a new battery.

I have the same problem. My phone will skip from 40% to 20%. I am running Simply Stunning 5.5 and I am not using SetCPU. My battery is not lasting more than 3 hours or so when I use it. I know my battery is getting old, but still dont know why it skips 30%.
