Battery help? Not lasting very long

Just jumped ship from Rubix 2.5. Wasn't bad but after giving Darkslide a chance here I am liking it for sure. Main concern is batter right now seems to be noticeably draining compared to rubix. I am a bit of a newbie so if someone could help explain or point in right direction to how I can try overclocking/underclocking. And if that is what I need to do to actually help. Thanks and sorry for ingorance !

Otherwise i can deal with the battery its not horrible. Down to 70% already at work here and i've not used it that much. So not complaining at all don't want someone to think that. But if any way to help it I would like to.

This is what I do when I switch roms : let battery drain completely until phone turns off, then without turning on the phone, let the battery charge to 100%, then reboot into recovery then wipe battery stats. Done. This should give you better battery life.
