Battery door button.....?

What is the tiny little button under the battery door? Is it s contact point for the antennae or something? Just curious.

I believe it should be part of the antenna for the GPS...

under the battery door lives a golden antenna contact and.. what i think you guys are talking about, is the post that the plastic on the back of your door latches closed with. Keeps it secure and makes it so it pops off. assuming your talking about the small round black post down from the battery pull tab.
