Seeking experts' knowledge here:
Is it possible to take the baseband files off a Euro Milestone/Milestone 2 and run them on the Pro? I don't need CDMA connectivity, I just need to test alternate basebands for my GSM radio.

No that is not advisable or probably even possible.
They have different chipsets in them.

OK, this sucks. How come the original Droid has a bajillion basebands to choose from? Is it something developers can work on? Or are basebands something that has to be released by Motorola?

I got the below reply from Motorola regarding my data issue:
If the APN settings would work with the DEFY but it will not work with your Motorola DROID Pro even after a Factory Data Reset, the data bandwidth is probably not compatible with the Service Provider in Kuwait. What we can offer you is evaluation but you would have to send it to our US Repair Center. I'm so sorry for that inconvenience.

..and that sucks even more!
I don't think it's a hardware issue, could it be so?

Another question:
Why is is that the Select Radio Band menu in the Pro only show "USA BAND" when it shows AUTOMATIC/EURO/JAPAN/USA/AUS on every other Android device that I've come across?? Is this software related?
