Can I backup my galleries to the SD card? When I do a backup using astro, it lists pretty much everything, but I don't see my gallery on the list. What's the story on that?

Can I backup my galleries to the SD card? When I do a backup using astro, it lists pretty much everything, but I don't see my gallery on the list. What's the story on that?

Gallery finds pics in various folders and makes them available for viewing. All your pics should already be on your card (moto-droid).

You can search with Astro for *.jpg for images. You can change how Astro displays files too, so that file extensions and more detail are displayed on your screen. Your camera images are in sdcard/dcim/camera.

You can also mount your card to the computer and search for images to back up to your computer.

Astro backs up apps, but not data. It moves the install files (apk files) to the card.

edit: I'll add that I think Astro backs up downloadable apps, not preinstalled ones.
