Backing up and restoring files/settings on Droid X2

So I just got a Droid X2 and I really like it. I paid full retail price for it because my mom pays for my bill and didn't want to extend the contract by getting an upgrade discount. But, i convinced her to stay with Verizon, so basically I'm going to return it, and then buy it again but with the discount. So I'll be getting a brand new X2, but I'd like to keep all my files and settings from the old one. What's the best way to backup and restore my all files and settings? I don't want to have to individually install all my apps/games again, it'd be great if there was a way I could just drag and drop from my PC, or use a program that would do every thing for me. What's the best way for me to go about this? Thanks.
