Autosilencing after recieved text to prevent repeated notifications

If someone starts a text conversation it can createmultiple alerts and repeated alert sounds. Is there an app or setting that canauto silence the sounds for a pre-defined period of time so that you don't haveto manually choose vibrate or silent with your phone button or volume. I wouldrather I get no more than 1 notification sound per contact per 5 minutes withthe options for exceptions or customization. Does an app like this exist? Hasanyone built one with tasker or something similar?
