Automatic updates

Is there a way to have apps update at a certain time when I'm not using the phone. I looked and don't think there is a way but hoping I overlooked something.

It would be great if I can get my apps to update in the middle of the night when I'm sleeping.

One way to do it would be to turn off auto update, and before you go to bed, just update all when you put your phone down for the night. That's pretty much how I have mine set.
