Auto Updating Apps - Bad Idea?

ChugIt

Member
I don't use the auto updating through the market on Froyo because I like to wait and see how the update is first. I generally browse the comments and see if people are complaining about the update or not. I would rather wait it out until the comments are good enough for me to go ahead and update. Does anyone else do this or have any thoughts about it?

i agree. i dont use it for any apps, becuase if an update is bad i dont want it.
besides, hittings the 'update all' button is pretty easy and it notifies us when we have updates anyway

I use it for apps that i trust the developers (google basically) or ones that the permissions don't have access to anything that would allow them to change into malware.

I'm not to worried about an app borking my phone as i can always rollback to an earlier version with titanium backup.
