Auto on/off

Hey guys
I waa wondeeing the other day, doe rhe galaxy S have an auto on and off. So basically phone turns itself off at night and on in the morning before my alarm goes off. Or if i have my alarm set and switch off my phone,will my phone switch on automatically for the alarm?

no I believe only blackberry phones do thatt and ur phone will not turn on automatically for the alarm. But blackberries however don't fully power down...they are in a standby mode. Basically they are in airplane mode which u probably know disables all data/calls. There are a few apps in the market that llet u schedule when ur phone goes into plane mode and when it disables from plane mode.
