Audio playback...poor quality.

My uploaded mp3 files dont sound clear when playing back on headphones or when connected to my head unit. Sounds kind of muffled and the music sounds like its coming from a distance. Funny thing is Pandora plays music nice and clear. Its just the phones internal mp3 player sounds crappy. I tried adjusting some of the audio settings and didnt really make too much of a difference. Anyone else experiencing this and any recommendations?

Lots of us have an issue with high pitched whine playing through the headphones. Well documented. hoping for update to fix it...

my audio was weak. I purchased poweramp for my og droid and now have it on my Bionic. I can tune the eq perfectly.
Doesn't sound muffled or weak. I love it.
