Let the roms begin! Today the Nexus Player Received Official TWRP support. With Team Win Recovery Project you will be able to flash alternative firmware which will allow you to install a full mobile version of AOSP Android. With a true rom on the Nexus Player you will be able to run any and all Android apps. This should open up even more functionality for your Nexus Player. You can actually flash TWRP manually without being rooted. Head to the link below for install instructions and download links.
