Just went thru this a couple weeks ago with a cracked screen. Now the droid 1 they sent me is having some issues. (Screen goes blank and unresponsive, a whole different conversation) so I called and they said they would get me another one sent right out. Then he says they have no droids in stock so they can offer me an eris or a devour. I'm like NO I want a phone that is at least as good as what I have. He says droid 1's are on back order and I'll have to wait 7-10 days to 3 weeks then. Well long story short I was on the phone with them for a good 20 minutes with him and his supervisor and they would not even consider giving me anything else. Supervisor told me if they gave me an incredible then Verizon wouldn't reimburse them for the phone because thats the agreement they have. I was in control of my emotions but I let them know how sorry of service that was and all the supervisor said was hopefully being able to tell her that made me feel better but she still couldn't do anything for me. she tried to tell me the eris and devour had all the same features as my droid. So today they send me an email saying my droid is available. When I try to complete the information on their site it pops up and says I have to call which I do and get a lady that doesn't speak the best English but I get through it then at the end of the call she asks for my credit card # which they didnt ask for the first time, I found that odd and questioned her and she said thats ok you don't have to give it to me if you dont want to. Not a good experiance this second time and I really dont trust someone that asks for my card # when everything is already tied to my Verizion account anyway and then she admits that she doesnt need it to complete the transaction. I thought by paying for this ins I wouldn't have to be without a phone since I use it for my business but after this I have a lot less confidence in that thought. LCH
