So I'm under the assumption that I can network my moto droid to my home network correct? As in I can access my HD's? I'm not entirely sure how to set this up and google has failed me. Anyone have a tut to set me on the right path?

To access network share(s), you'll need the ASTRO SMB Module - Android app on AppBrain if you don't already have it. Even with that though, I could never get it working myself. In the end I just went with EStrongs File Explorer - Android app on AppBrain for my network share and Astro for everything else.
