Arrange Icons

I just became a new owner of the Verizon Vortex and having a little trouble trying to arrange the icons on the home page, i guess my question is, is that possible, the reason i am asking is that somehow i have the icons all over the place and can't figure out how i did it and how to undo it. Thanks

Long press the icons and drag them to the appropriate position

Long press the icons to move them or remove them.

Right click on your desktop and then select 'Arraneg Icons By' then turn off the option that says 'Auto Arrange.
