i recently just got my phone and updated to system version 2.3.340. After the installation, i found that there is one small pixel that is blue on the bottom screen. it shows up if the color black is shown on the screen.

has anyone got this issue yet? is there a way to fix it? let me know please. thanks!

maybe you just happened to finally notice a "frozen" pixel.

i believe there are some ways to unfreeze it, but i unfortunately unaware of that type of fix.

try googling it

it wasnt there before the update. i tried the googling it and it showed a few methods but it didnt solve the problem.

Happened to me...2 day old phone. White pixel while black screen. There's an app called jscreen fix. Supposed to fix dead/frozen pixels. I ran it for two 12 hour sessions with no luck fixing screen. I have tried everything...that app, poking at my screen, slapping it with my hand, running other fix it apps, nothing works. So good luck. Let me know what happens.

If it's only 2 days old take it back to the store and show them. I don't know what the Verizon policy for something like that is but you have that 30-day exchange you can get another one just like it... :)

Your contacts will be stored with Google unless you turned that feature off.

Home> Menu> Settings> Privacy> back up everything with Google.

Oh...and what about my rebate I still haven't mailed in if i get a new phone? Ill probably get screwed out of that. Ill get my screen fixed but probably have some stupid charge on my bill...i know it!! What a friggin dilemma

You need your box intact to return the phone. Ask in the store about the rebate as I am sure there won't be an issue.

This came from my brain by way of my finger and my phone. Don't ask where any of them have been. Especially the brain.

Ok. Ill go in today sometime. They will have to search for that one pixel and look at me like an idiot over one tiny white dot but...i have an OCD thing goin on about this damn thing. Thanks for advice/help.
