how do i put apps in a folder on my home screen's

Just create the new folder, and then drag and drop the app onto the folder

I installed an application called "Apps Organizer" that allows you to segment your apps into several categories (including the ability to rename/create your own app folder). You can also use this tool to create a shortcut by folder name (games, multimedia, internet, google, etc.) that you can place on your home screen and access the apps from there as opposed to using the application drawer. I use this for "games" for my son to access. Hope this helps.
