Apps not installing / no space left?

OK every so often when I try to install an apk it says I have no more space. I realize they go to the phone internal drive. I have moved all my Apps to sd. Any suggestions or is my phone full. My droid x was endless

To check how much space is left do the following

MENU Softkey > Settings > Storage

Application storage is the 2 GB partition reserved for apks
Internal storage is the rest of the 16 GB internal storage

every so often i get this too. i think its a problem with the temp file cleanup. usually if you try to install again, it works fine.
