Apps, Apps and more Apps...

Does loading, testing and then dumping apps slow down the DROID over time? Kind'a like getting a new computer that screams, then over time slows to a crawl because of programs that were added then deleted.

I did a factory reset yesterday and my DROID seem to run WAY better than it did before the reset.

I wondered this too. I haven't done a factory reset, but since I installed 2.1 this Am with OTA, even with a live wallpaper running my phone is snappier than it was. I wondered if clearing caches speeds up your phone?
