App updates

The problem is, not all apps give you the option to uninstall just the most recent update, so you're stuck with either accepting it as is, or uninstalling it altogether.

No the big problem is for me..if i don't use my tab for 3 weeks..then its got a ton of update on it though there isn't an os update. It kinda seems pointlessness..like why all the updates if the OS is stuck back on 4.something ..??

That's still no fix..because you want your apps to be state
of the art...so to speak..why are they updating apps on stale os's anyway?? Idk..yeah I could just let it go stale but I'd figure the developers would be for I had to..
....oh look 4.5.XXX lets keep this up to date,,lol

I also use only update on WiFi. I have no WiFi data caps. Always update, all the time. With over 70 apps on my phone, its a given there will be frequent updates.
I've never had a bad update that wasn't fixed quickly. Honestly can't think of one at the moment.

Well Textra version 3.13 has now been installed on my device 4 times. Same update, downloads, installs and completes no issues... Then the next day I will reboot my phone and it pops up as showing for an update available.... Happens with a handful of apps. No idea what is causing it....

OMG!! I thought i was going insane! Textra and a number of other apps are doing the exact same thing. I have no clue what's going wrong, but glad I'm not the only one.

I honestly don't know why. I ask myself that every time I see my bill.
I only have maybe 10 apps downloaded on my phone and I keep most of the garbage apps disabled...but I have a smart phone just cause lol..I don't necessarily need one..but its good to have. [emoji12]

Apps I use in importance to me:

Runkeeper
Jefit
Waze
Google play music
Acar

I should get a dumb phone but my UDP is awesome.

I just counted in my Play Store. 123 apps for me. There are some I haven't used in months, but I like to have them on there for when I need them.

There are probably also some that I don't use anymore and will never use again. I try to be good about going through once in awhile and getting rid of those, but they add up sometimes. That's also what's nice about updates. If a dev hasn't abandoned an app, getting a notification about an update sometimes prompts me to uninstall that app. Whether that notification is that the update is available or that it's already installed doesn't really matter to me.
