Is there an app where you can hold your Droid up to a song and have it recognize the song and give you the name of the song with the artist?

Thanks.

Shazam is good and is free, but I use SoundHound. There's a free version and the paid is $4.99, but I get title, artist, lyrics and Youtube. It also seems a little faster.

The thing about SoundHound is that you can even get a hit if you hum or sing the song yourself.

I see a free version and a paid version of SoundHound. What's the difference?

And if any of you wise guys say $4.99…...:work3:

Thanks guys.
I've downloaded Shazam.
You get a 7 day unlimited trial and then 5 free tags a month.

I've seen other forums recommend Midomi. Any experience with this one?

SoundHound is worth the money. It's faster and has lyrics.

Shazam also has lyrics. Along with FB, Twitter, SMS, Tour Info, email, and more! Still gonna try out SoundHound and see how it is though.

Soundhound is great. One of the few apps I bought. 5 bucks was worth the money. Been trying to stump it and man it has pulled back everything I played for it.

I believe the searches are not as limited. And you can support a programmer. :)

I switched from Shazam to Sound Hound... I think Sound Hound is so much better! I have never tried Midomi though

Verizon has recently come out with VCast Song id. It has gotten good reviews and it is free!
