App for face identification

With gingerbread, were we not supposed to be able to use front camera as a security measure on phone? How does that work? Thanks!

That is a feature if Ice Cream Sandwich. If any gingerbread has it, it is part of the overlay put on by the manufacturer, it does not have it natively.

Thank you. I must have seen that in all the info re ICS and confused it with gingerbread. There are apps in Market, but I'll wait for ICS. ;-)
