I've done only basic testing but the Yahoo messenger plug-in works and you can also call someone on a PC with it.

just tried the the yahoo im plugin and placed a call to the pc and it worked freaking nice.

I concur, I just held a half hour video chat with my daughter and it worked great! Used Yahoo messenger! I was on my thunderbolt and she was on her pc.
