a few irratating things, nothing magical
I have the upgrade, not happy that the notification icon is gone from the bottom of home screen. Now you have to TRY to grab this thin little black ribbon up at the very top of the screen and pull down the notifications you have. It is also different in how you can skip/close notifications you don't want to deal with. I USED to be able to select 3G ONLY when I was out of the metro 4G area. Now I can't do that, the choices are "global" or "3G/4G". Yes there is a drawn out way of going in and programming your phone to 3G but it reverts when the phone is turned off or in airplane mode. I used to have one email icon that showed that I had email on one of the 3 email accounts contained within the one master icon. Now that has gone away, and you have to open the icon and then go to the top and swipe down from one email in box to another - much more of a pain.
I just got my Maxx, and all I seem to be hearing is bad stuff about ICS. Should I update or not?
The last thing I need is for my phone to take a crap. I'm a truck driver and my phone is my lifeline. I need my Netflix while I'm on the road. Not to mention if I have a breakdown/blowout and need to call road service.
Some productive feedback please...Thanks
