I haven't been able to get it working over the past few days either, which strangely enough is the first time I've really needed it. It says it's up and running, but no devices see it. I've tried all of the tips I've seen online such as backing out of the default hotspot app that pops up, but no dice.

Try rebooting the other device while foxfi is running?

My experience with FoxFi has been spotty at best. First started using it on my Droid X a few months back. About 50% of the time when I enabled the hotspot and tried to navigate to a website, I would be prompted by VZW to signup for their hotpot feature.

I just switched phones to a Droid Razr and FoxFi is kind of flakey on it. Sometimes it works but other times the clients can't see the hotspot at all.

I use FoxFi as a last resort when there is no local hotspot available and I'm trying to use a device (like my Kindle Fire) that is wifi only. When using my laptop or netbook, I prefer to tether via USB using PdaNet.

Works very well for me with my Kindle Fire and Netflix; however, I've used 10 GB this month!
I've never gone over 5 before. I have unlimited but doesn't my current usage make me an evil power user and a target for slow down?

I went to a store with tablets displayed, and their internet wouldn't let me get on Facebook or anything good really. So I tested this app out for the first time and wow it worked perfect! I put the displayed tablets to my phones wifi and bypassed the proxies so I went on Facebook and anything else, I felt like I "beat the system" it was great.

And the Verizon store employees are too! Look that one bookmarked the site on his own phone!

Down range.......
I use FoxFi like its my job! I average about 25G a month on my unlimited plan. Right now I'm at 10.7 and have never gotten any extra charges or been throttled. Had PDAnet before and the connection wasn't stable enough for me.
