Anyone else have choppy (outbound) audio when using a headset?

I use the white ear buds with mic that i got with my iPhone. I literally spend my entire day with them in my ears, and im constantly on calls.

They work perfect for my iPhone and my BB's, but now constantly im told my voice is choppy. When they tell me that i disconnect my headset and use just the phone, and they say its crystal clear.

Thanks for any feedback.

PS, I dont want to use a BT headset, im used to using this and i love it lol.

Rather than poll the world, have you tested the headset on another device to determine if it's the headset or your Droid?

I have an iPhone and a BB Curve, the headset works perfect.

Just wondering if anyone else has ha similar issues with their Droid.

Have they never worked? Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are all sorts of proprietary ICs inside those Apple headphones. I imagine that they might not work properly with non-Apple hardware....
