Honestly I am not that impressed by it. The pages seem glitchy and laggy, and it messes up when trying to zoom. It's really at the point where it's too much of a pain to use it. Anyone else feel the same way or am I doing something wrong? Using xscope lite btw
#1. These are evaluation builds of Froyo - not what we'll be seeing in the final
#2. This is a beta version of Flash - not what we'll be seeing when it's done.
Be patient - the tests I've seen are very promising.
I've like it. I checked out the Bioshock 2 site (extremely flash heavy) on my droid and it worked almost as well as my PC. I've watched a few videos, like Weeble's Amazing Horse, and next to the occasional glitch I thought it was great.
And on a side note...."Look at my horse, my horse is amazing!"
I am, but not because of anything glitchy... because 3G doesn't have enough bandwidth to do most things I was planning on doing... like stream live video.
You can set it in all browsers (I believe xscope and dolphin does it automatically) where it does not automatically load that wa you can chose which flash vids you want to see.
Like others said, we are using a leaked test build of Froyo and a beta of Flash. Give it time. The final Froyo build may be faster or more efficient. Also, the non-beta Flash should offer hardware acceleration. Right now our GPUs aren't helping us almost at all, it's all done via software. When hardware acceleration is used, it should speed things up quite a bit.
^^Exactly. NONE of this is final: Froyo and Flash. Ppl gotta realize this. Even tho they both run like butter on my phone, (not really Flash, I get hiccups with full Flash sites) I know its still beta.
