Question about the browser

So when you click on a link by accident, and want to hit stop, it seems it's always too late when it gives you the option to stop, and the page has started loading already. Anyone else find this really annoying? Specially with a touch screen phone, you're bound to touch the wrong link.

I guess my question is, is there anyway to fix this without having to use a different browser?

Yes, You can never actually stop it. It will always go blank, just hit the back button and you will learn to deal with it.
