I keep taking pocket screen shots with my note 4. Is there any to shut off screenshots?

How are you taking them? You can turn off the feature to take them by swiping across the screen, but if you're doing it by pressing the home & power buttons, I don't think you can turn that off.

I've never personally taken one by accident, but I have the swipe feature turned off.

Yeah, I can't see accidentally hitting the button combination and holding it the required 3+ seconds to fire a screen shot while in your pocket.

Doesn't take 3 seconds on the Note 4, but it's hard sometimes to hit the buttons together right to take one on purpose. Haha

It's likely the swipe to capture feature that's doing it "accidentally". I keep mine turned off as it's just as easy to use the two button feature for screenshots.

Well as you said, three seconds or not, I often wind up getting a volume slider instead of a screen shot when I try. Sometimes I get the "Power Off" screen instead but less often, so yeah...it's not easy to do it on purpose. Timing is everything so accidentally seems even far less likely.

I have no idea how it's actually taking them. I put the phone in my pocket and occasionally it takes a screenshot.

Easy fix. Turn off the swipe feature. If you're still getting random screenshots, you'll know it's the button option taking them.

Do you make sure to turn the screen off before putting it in your pocket?

I've honestly never had one taken on accident in or out of my pocket. Sometimes, my screen will get turned back on in my pocket, but I'm religious about turning the screen off when not using the phone.

And I just checked to find out where the palm swipe feature is. I still have that turned on.

After the Lollipop update, my son's Note4 started taking random screenshots on its own.
The unknown factor with his though, is that he uses the flip cover.
