Any Idea why this wifi tether app doesnt work?

For years I have used this root Wifi Tether app because it has fast speeds, doesn't drain battteries, etc. But I cannot get it to work on my Galaxy s4?

I tried posting in the google code group, but it keeps vanishing? I'm using Foxfi with the paid subscription, but it's not as good -

In that link you posted, it says it's for rooted phones. Are you rooted? If so, there's some Xposed modules that allows you to tether

Yea I am rooted using towel Root (which is awesome) -

If you haven't used Xposed before, you'll need to install this 1st: http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.robv.android.xposed.installer

But take a look around the modules(aka: apps) to see if there's one that'll work for you. I have a Moto X, so I'm not sure what'll work for your phone
