Any good media players out there?

Ok - I haven't gotten any great reply so I'm going to ask in a diff. manner...
I downloaded some vids to my computer i took w/ my Droid X .

What is a good media player that will play videos from my computer and also have edit capabilities so I can merge clips onto one file?

I tried QuickTime - plays ok but yellow vid at first. you need to upgrade for edit capabilities.
Is there a good, free media player out there I can use for Droid X video (GP3)?

How are you able to edit vids with this?? I tried & it plays straight video & I can't find the edit feature to add vids to a particular clip or dlt. different parts of the video.

i dont know of a player that you can edit videos on the droid. sorry i missed that part of your post

Can you tell me how to merge videos onto another clip? I notice the edit feature but I don't get the option to add more footage.

I have about 4 video clips I need to merge into one clip.

i tried rockplayer until i started asking me to activate every couple of seconds while playing a video.

i tried out act 1 for a couple minutes and decided to buy it. it is an awesome player.
