Any FIRM news re: Android 2.2 release for the Orig DROID?

Where is the upgrade to 2.2? No speculation, please. If you KNOW something, and can share it, then by all means.

Too many opinions here to mean anything. Ask 50 would-be "Devs" get 50 answers. Everyone says its close. But then, they have been saying that for three-four months.

any REAL DEVS reading who can let us know when the OTA upgrade will happen?
