Any Droid 1 Owners in a contract till 2012 jealous about new devices?

I agree with you there, I absolutely love the work JRummy and the LithiumMod team have done, I'm running LithiumMod as we speak!

Yeah, the Droid 2 has a better keyboard (though I've gotten used to the D1's) and twice the internal RAM (though I still have plenty on my D1). The CPU comes stock as what the D1 is overclocked to, and the D2's CPU probably won't overclock nearly as much as the D1's did.

Plus it's gonna take a while to get the D2 rooted and to have ROMs available.

All in all, I'm not sorry at all.

Not at all.......... Personally, the new ones out there aren't enough to pull me away from my Original Droid. Not to mention, I'm rooted and I think the devs are still concentrating on the Droid 1 more than anything........

Also I don't like the fact that the newer Droid's have locked boot loaders. If I didn't have my Nandroid backups. I'd be screwed six ways over by now. They are a LIFESAVER.

The keyboard is barely an improvement, The DROID1's isn't terrible.
D2's CPU IS definitely twice as powerful.

In my opinion not enough to make the switch, ESPECIALLY since the D2 came out only a few months after the D1, imagine what is going to come out in a year.

AMEN to that haha, I've had so many instances where I've tinkered around too much and Nandroid saved my life

I called VZW last night and spoke to a rep about the Droid X. The rep actually told me that I should wait because what will come out in 1 year will amaze me.
