Any clue to when R2D2 get's his Gingerbread?

I know us R2D2 owners are way in the minority, and I understand that the "skin" is different that D2, but what the heck? I need me some Gingerbread! Anybody have any solid intel?

I ditched the stock R2D2 for a custom rom months ago. I SBF back to stock froyo and the gingerbread OTA was there. Sure, I don't have all the R2D2 customizations but if you really want that there is a way to get it all back. I only keep the R2D2 sounds.

Im not rooted, im not worried about doing it, but I just havent done it. Id like to get to be on GB, what steps do I need to take to get it there?
