Download an animation: Boot Animations
Boot Animations - Droidboots

Save it as bootanimation.zip to your SD Card.


Type this into a terminal to push the file.

$ su
# mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock6 /system
# cp /sdcard/bootanimation.zip /system/media/
# mount -o ro,remount -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock6 /system

Now reboot.

The link I posted includes boot animations also. It has the droid boot, matrix, mario, transformers, android, and nexus one boot. Its easier then the post above mine. Tapatalk is an app from the market, that gives u a mobile view of all forums. Its really fast, and quicker then using the browser to post.

im currently looking for a boot animation of the Android Robot pissing on a apple symbol. Ive seen it somewhere but cant find it.

Okay that one was funny. I had the one of the apple rotting away, but I like this one better.

i dont think ive seen the rotting away apple one that would be cool... i would like to try to put a boot animaton together but no idea where to start.also my buddy is always asking if there is any adult boot animations but i didnt see anything.

No idea about adult ones. Is he going to reboot his phone that many times???
