Annoying white spot on display

Hi, so I bought a Droid X on Craigslist this weekend. Love the phone. Everything looked good until I got home and noticed there was this spot on my screen that's only noticeable on white or light colored backgrounds.

I just wanted to know if anyone else has this issue. Would Verizon give me a replacement if I'm not the original owner?

I'm kind of OCD about stuff like this so I hope it can be fixed lol

Verizon has no reason to exchange it for you. But you might be able to have Moto exchange it if it's a manufacture defect and not from user abuse.

Ok thanks for the reply. I'm pretty sure its a defect since the phone is in perfect condition. I guess I'll have to contact Moto.

Just wondering if going through moto worked out for you, I just bought a used one and it seems to have the same issue.
