I'm new to this forum and could use some advice. Name is Jim, BTW. Every now and then my Vortex will spurt out "VERIZON WIRELESS" loudly and this is very annoying. Could be sitting in a nice quiet restaurant and it announces. Does it when I go in and out of a zone, I think when one of my apps does something, or anytime something happens on the phone. If I can't get it turned off, I may have to get rid of the phone, although I like it despite this problem. Called Verizon, spent 45 mins. on phone with them but still no luck. Anyone else have this problem and get it solved???
