Verizon Wireless notification driving me nuts

I don't know how I did it, but now before I receive or send any call, the phone announces, "Verizon Wireless". I don't know what I did, but it sure is annoying. I know someone has the simple solution to this....help me!!!

Menu>Settings>Sound>Notification Ringtone...set it from there.

I'm not sure why, It happened the same day I DL'd Handcent SMS, but my phone began randomly choosing it's own notification rings as well. For some reason ever 3 or 4 days it changes it to the Verizon Lady saying "Roaming". Really messed me up at first til I figured out what was going on.
