I don't need videos. I picked one up. It's definitely smooth, though it does still have its little hiccups, like they all do. The transition between bright and ambient faces is nicer than it was on the g watch.
I just received another AW App update. Version 1.1.1.1901499, Dated 18 May 2015. But the What's New section still displays the same thing as the last update. Kind of strange. Maybe prepping things for the eventual 5.1 update the watch itself? Or maybe a glitch in the Play Store?

I am totally guessing / speculating here...nothing official at all...but I think this update is prepping things on our phone for the 5.1 watch firmware. It's already rolled out the the Zen Watch and a few rumors indicate that some Moto 360 owners are receiving it. I think we will have it soon. But that's just my guesstimate.

Problem is we already had 3 app updates since the firmware was announced. They said we would be getting it "in a couple of weeks" and a month as passed and there is no firmware update yet.
One article I read does make sense though. Since many watches do not have built in WiFi, roll out the update to a small group first (the Zen Watch can get it now) see how things go for a few days and then roll it out to other watches. Not saying that is 100% for sure what is happening, but it does make sense. I think we will see it starting on all watches very soon. Just my 2 cents.
Well Pere, another forum that I will not mention here is claiming that Google announced that Android Wear 5.1.1 was officially released for all AW watches starting today. Obviously I have no way of confirming this, just passing on the info. I think we will all see it soon.
Lots of sites are referring that the update as started.
Also, latest rumor is that we may see some new party tricks added to the Android Wear arsenal very soon. — on-watch calling and speaker support.
