Android wear update

I'm torn about whether I'd really want a speaker on my watch. I guess it would be nice to have the option of using it, but I'm assuming they won't have very good sound quality for music. Maybe I'm wrong. Still, getting closer to the Dick Tracy tech.

Since 99% of all my calls are over Bluetooth, I am not concerned about a speaker on my watch. I probably wouldn't use it even if I had it. But yes....we are entering Dick Tracey / Maxwell Smart territory with new technology. [emoji355] [emoji41] [emoji390]

I rarely do calls at all, but they're almost never on BT unless someone happens to call me while I'm streaming music in my truck, so I think I might find it more useful than you would. If nothing else, it'd be kinda nice to get the vocal feedback from Google Now/etc. to come out of the watch.

That's one reason I picked the Huawei watch, because I figured they'd do something with it. I may not use it much, but it'll be nice to have when I do.

That's part of what caused me to upgrade to the Urbane from the G Watch last year. I knew it had the wifi functionality. While it's not something I use EVERY day, it's still nice to get more range out of the watch/phone when I'm at work or past BT range out in my yard/etc.

I was not trying to be rude, I just normally do not post links to other sites / forums here.

It's not against the rules.

I also agree re: speaker. NO THANK YOU. I hardly even talk to my watch anymore.

EDIT\\\ STOKED!!! I have been waiting for the option to dismiss a card with a gesture!

About the only reason I can think of, although you don't want to be THAT guy. Maybe if you left the phone at home, and were connected to wifi or had a 4G watch.

Otherwise, maybe for alarms (other than vibrating). But it's just way down the list of features/improvements that could have been offered.

True, but since there are some oems putting the hardware in their watches already, I have to give Google kudos for backing that up with software support. At least they continue to move the platform further.

Mustang is such a fair-weather AW user. He only dusts his 360 off when we're curious about something. Haha!
It's true. If the battery lasted more than 10-12 hours I'd wear it more but I can't stand having to charge it all the time. Nothing like being out with friends and someone sees the watch and the battery is dead so I can't show it off.
Maybe he misses you Jonny, and is looking forward to being your AW "together buddy" again. [emoji3] [emoji355]
Don't be jelly.

I'm on 1.3.2xxxxx Tried to update and it says "System is up to date". I took it off the charger 2 minutes ago and it's at 94% battery. Unacceptable.

Never had that issue with the g watch our the Urbane. Much better battery life over here.

Tiny battery, tiny battery life. Not impressed with the 360.

87% battery. It's sitting next to my computer. I'm not even touching it. It will be dead by 2pm.

Too funny. [emoji3] I had a feeling that you & Jonny bonded during that " together" test.

It took 3 or 4 days for my watch to notify me the last time there was a watch OS update.

Look I get it... @PereDroid dropped you like a bad habit but sometimes a virtual hug is all we need to get us by. @Jonny Kansas and I were together not "Together together". He at least told me things weren't working out between us.

3 to 4 days? I wonder if that's why this thing is crying and eating battery like a fat kid on cake/.

I have the Moto 360 1st generation and have everything on. I usually get to bed with 20 per cent of battery life left, unless I go out at night.
