Android wear update

I totally agree with @Jonny Kansas . This new update (AW 1.3) seems very stable and I have not noticed any issues, battery drain, etc. In fact, this is the first update that I did not have to do a Factory Reset on my watch afterward. After this update, my watch paired right back with my phone...no problems. For me, every other update has been a pain to make my watch re-pair with my phone. I am happy with this new update.

Just saw an update to the new Bits face in the Play Store. Looks like they added more themes, color options, styles. That was pretty quick. Gonna try it out and see what all new stuff they added.

Well, if they're already adding stuff to it this soon, that's a good sign and maybe I'll check it out myself now.

Pretty cool. Only gripe so far is that I wish you could decide what shows in ambient mode. I've narrowed mine down to 4 "bits" just so the time is a decent size. I'd much rather have kinda just like a watch in ambient mode and then have all the bits come flying in when I tap for info.

True, that would be nice, since as you add more Bits, they are harder to read. I like some of the new themes. Didn't know that when you tap on some Bits they display more information when they expand: battery Bit only shows watch until you tap it thrn it shows phone and watch, etc. At least Google is updating AW on a regular basis, that is a good thing

I figured that battery thing out too. I like that. It's nice to know how my phone battery is doing throughout the day while it hides in my pocket. I knew that was kind of the trick behind the face is that everything showed you something when you tap it.

If I tap the weather one, I get the current condition and it's showing me that it might rain around 3pm. Tapping the clock makes it big, but I wish I could freeze it into ambient mode that way.

The date one seems kinda pointless to me. I like having the date on my watch, but tapping it just pulls up a tiny calendar where you can see the month. I guess that's good if you're trying to plan something for a certain day of the week and need to figure out what the date would be, but I don't feel like I'll get much use out of that.

Those are the 4 I have. I could see how the Calendar one that shows upcoming events/agenda could be handy, but I know my schedule pretty well, so I disabled that one right away.

Not a bad face. Definitely a good start. I'll rock this one at least for today and will likely keep it installed even after I change it just in case they add even more customization.

My thoughts also, and I was planning the same thing. I will use it today and switch back to one of may favorites tomorrow. I can see this one becoming more popular as Google updates and it.

I just keep coming back to Pujie. I try occasionally to find newer ones. Installed some new ones last night, in fact....and I am back on Pujie already.

All Faces < Pujie

I used Pujie a lot on the G Watch, but, for some reason, I just didn't like it as much on the round face of the Urbane. I may have to revisit it after my time with Bits. Pujie is a good example of a face that can give you a basic digital watch in ambient mode and then all sorts of info in awake mode.

I know what you mean. I will try Bits for today and by tomorrow morning will be back to either Minimal & Elegant or Flip Clock. I have tried others and always end up back with one of those two

Latest Pujie update added even more customization. Absolutely try it again, JK.

Saw that Flip Clock one last night Sajo. That does look cool.

I will Pere.

I've been rocking M&E like crazy lately. I had switched to one of the stock analog just for a change, but I'll use Bits and then go back to Pujie to see what's changed.

And the Dev adds updates about every 2 weeks, it has really improved nicely since I bought it back in Feb / March. There are lots of cool "little worlds" on his G+ page that you can add to the face, and lots of color options these days. I keep meaning to try Pujie, just have not done it yet.
