Android to android wi-fi tether

Here is the question my brother has a droid eris and i have the og droid and we dont have wifi but i downloaded some games that require wifi to dl additional info so we tried using my brother wi-fi connection from his eris but my droid didnt find the address so i was wondering if we are able to share wifi from one android phone to another android phone?

They're incompatible 99% of the time. You'll need an actual WiFi source.
