We will have the update soon cause why would they have thousands of people sign up to be beta testers for flash if you have to have 2.2 to run it.. hopefully by the end of the weekened...

So, last month I talked a co-worker of mine(on T-Mobile) into getting the nexus one and ditching his crackberry. He did and loves the dang thing. Now we constantly try and one up each other with cool apps we find.

The pisser is that he just upgraded his T-Mobile N1 to FroYo and got flash. Now he is continuously texting me about how much faster 2.2 is and how awesome flash is.

C'mon already....share the wealth and kick out a version for us Droid users!!!!

Not sure what porting it involves, however, if I had the knowledge for how to do it, it would be done already. C'mon smart peeps. Make it happen.

The whole not including it bit could be an attempt by Google to not release it until it is fully ready. That way they don't take the blame for it not working properly. The way it is now as a beta from Adobe, puts the fault for imperfections right back on Adobe.

You're over-thinking things a bit. When you buy a new PC is flash included or do you download it yourself? It's the same here.

Sorry about that hook I got a little excited all I really care about is the update.zip!

On XDA forum they have already rooted 2.2 for nexus one and even have it in a update.zip file..hopefully this means they are close to porting it to the droid...dancedroid
Damn that was quick!

So, can someone explain the ported version to me? Does this mean that it will "work" on the droid, but it is not what was intended so is therefore possibly flawed and has a higher percentage of opportunity to brick my phone?
