I have duplicates on the home page. I have been trying to remove them.

Please advise me on how to remove duplicates.

not to assume anything, but have you tried dragging them to the bottom of the screen to the trash icon that shows up? it should remove the link to the application that's on the home screen.

thank you - no i haven't tried that - seems like i read that instruction somewhere along the way - after you mentioned it i tried it on all the duplicates - it doesn't work

i played with it for a while - i found i had to move the lower app icon to the trash before the upper apps duplicate to dissappear or go into the trash - your suggestion allowed me to correct the duplicity of app icons on the home screen.
