Amazon had a ridiculous deal on the HTC Thunderbolt as soon as it went on sale at 12AM EST. They were offering the phone for $179.99 on contract! This was $70 bucks less than at the Verizon store, and $20 bucks less than the great deal that WireFly was offering. Unfortunately, the deal was so hot, they've already gone into a "backordered" status and Amazon has no more available at the moment. Perhaps we can cross our fingers that they will make the same offer when they get more in stock, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
