Amazon Echo Turned On By Itself

Hello all, new member here. Just wondering if anyone has experienced their Echo turning on by itself yet?

I've had Echo for about 3 weeks now and haven't had any issues until about 30 mins ago. I am the only one home and Echo turned on by itself at full volume playing a radio station. I couldn't turn the volume down manually or by asking "Alexa" to turn it down, so I had to unplug her.

Is it possible someone who was outside the house was using the Echo App to annoy/scare you? As a joke? If it was loud enough that was likely why you couldn't talk to her.

Hi all! My friend was talking about his Lexus and my Echo turned on with music. We had a laugh. I also notice that it occasionally turns off when playing a radio station, like she gets bored and shuts down. Maybe she doesn't like talk radio!
