amazon app store keeps force closing

Some details....
I have a droid 1, running launcher pro, not rooted and all of a sudden whenever I play apps from the amazon app store, in the middle of doing something, I get a message that the amazon app store is force closing.

Can I uninstall the app store and reinstall it without losing all my apps and data that are in there?

I've got the amazon app store. I have a droid 2, rooted, entirely stock. You can probably uninstall the app store, then redownload the apk from amazon. I just recently got an update for it about two days ago, maybe yours wasn't pushed the update for some reason.

You shouldn't lose any data or apps, its all tied to your amazon account. Just sign in and it should all be restored.

I can't delete Venezia and have an Amazon acct., but never installed this. How to delete it ?
